Traffic Incident Management

Effective scene management is the foundation of roadway emergency response. Overall, while the principles of TIM are sound, consistent application of TIM practices can be challenging due to a variety of factors. Addressing these challenges requires a coordinated effort among agencies to provide training, resources, and support to responders, as well as addressing external pressures and barriers to collaboration. We provide training and support across the spectrum of Traffic Incident Management, from the basic 4-hour Responder level program to our agency- and role-specific advanced TIM supervisory instruction.

Our services are not limited to the classroom, however. Even with the best training and preparedness, secondary incidents do occur and this may open the agency and its personnel to scrutiny and potential liability.  Were the correct protocols being followed? We are available to examine and and assist in creating and updating your agency’s TIM policies and procedures, consult with secondary incident investigations and debriefing, and provide conclusions and recommendations. We will help your agency demonstrate its commitment to providing high-quality, effective incident response, which can help to protect the agency and its officers from legal claims and other liabilities.
